Dr Rohayu Othman

Dr. Rohayu Othman has 24 years of experience in occupational safety and health, with expertise in mental health awareness, sexual harassment, ergonomics, and work-related musculoskeletal disorders. She holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Industrial Safety Management, and a PhD in Product Design from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Her doctoral research focused on physical ergonomics in Malaysian hospitals, complemented by certifications such as Safety and Health Officer (NIOSH), ergonomic training, chemical health risk assessment, and hearing conservation.
Since 2011, she has lectured on occupational safety and ergonomics and served as Head of the Mechanical Design Program.
